The GD Studio will be hosting a $2,000 USD Heart of the Swarm King of the Hill series which will run from Feb 17-28th. This is the GD Studio’s first at-home StarCraft tournament since their second Arena tournament back in early June. Matches will be broadcast live from Stockholm, Sweden with Shaun “Apollo” Clark and Michael “Adebisi“ Van Driel manning the commentary desk.

Format:
- King of the Hill style using BO3, 4 BO3 per night
- 5 invited players for the initial broadcast, 4 new players each night
- Winner stays on, earn $125 per BO3 won
- Winner at end of night invited back
- $500 awarded per night, $2000 for the series
- Map pool: Akilon Wastes, Star Station, Cloud Kingdom and Newkirk City (no repeats)
- Map ruleset: Initial map is Akilon wastes, challenger/loser picks
Prize pool:
- $2000 total prize pool, $500 per night and $125 per win
