Two IPL4 online qualifiers in February announced
Although details for the IGN Pro League's next LAN event (IPL4) have yet to be announced, today the league revealed information about two online qualifiers that will take place in February. The top two finalists from each qualifier will earn entry to IPL4 as well as free travel and hotel accommodations.
The four players who qualify will also be rewarded with automatic seeding into pool play at the event in which last place will be guaranteed to earn a minimum prize. As for other players seeking entry to the tournament, IGN say they will simply have to try their luck in the open bracket.
No further information was disclosed concerning the location of the event, however, the announcement assured readers that details would be released soon. The first qualifier is scheduled for February 11th with the second qualifier to come a week later on the 18th. Both qualifiers will be hosted through IGN Pro League partner Playhem, and players will need to pay an entry fee of $10 to compete. The matches are to be played on the North American Battle.net server.
