NASL announces Season 3 qualifiers
Today the NASL announced the dates and prizes for their Season 3 qualifiers. Registration opened on the 25th and already some big names have signed up for the tournament which will be held on February 9th. Eight spots will be left open for the top placing players from last season and the winners of the semi-open that was held at the end of NASL Season 2.
Notably these qualifiers will have a prize pool of $1000 with $500 going to first place, $250 to second and $125 to the remaining two semi-finalists. The tournament also boasts a completely open bracket with anyone being able to register until the deadline February 9th at 10:00 PM PST. The map pool is also quite unique, featuring only 3 regular tournament maps. The remaining map pool will be made up of custom maps designed by The Planetary Workshop and ESV.
Aside from the players who qualified last season, the four winners from the NASL Season 2 semi-open are also seeded directly into the tournament. These players are: Thorzain, Gatored, CrazyMoviNG and TargA.
