Destiny joins Quantic Gaming

Yesterday Quanitc Gaming announced the acquisition of the popular Swedish Protoss player Kim "SaSe" Hammar. Today, Quantic has picked up yet another popular free agent: Steven “Destiny” Bonnell II.

Destiny is a very popular American Zerg and can be considered an icon of StarCraft 2 streamers. Not only is he popular with fans of his stream, he is also a strong online and live event competitor. His most recent major victory came over Tyler "Tyler" Wasieleski in the MLG Global Invitational.

Destiny was released from Complexity Gaming, 10 days after Complexity bought out Root Gaming. He has not been on a team since June 12, 2011.

Yesterday, Destiny had posted on Twitter: "Finally joining a team. Very excited for some of the things they've got in the works." We now know that team is Quantic Gaming. Destiny had the following to say about being apart of Quantic Gaming:

I'm incredibly excited to be a part of Quantic Gaming now. I’ve been wanting to take my game to the next level for a while now, and it seems like Quantic is looking to step up their game as well. I’ve spoken to Mark quite a bit in the past couple of weeks and I definitely feel like Quantic’s goals are directly in line with my own.
