Azubu Frost
Q: Your thoughts of going to the final?
Cloudtemplar: It’s an honor for all of us
Madlife: It’s a third time for us so we’re less nervous than before. I’m sure we will get nervous on the stage.
Q: Najin Sword looks extremely strong coming to this final. How do you rate them against your previous opponent, CLG EU?
Shy: They are so strong that our average strategies probably won’t work. We will need a special preparation.
Cloudtemplar: They are completely different teams from the last year. While CLG EU was extremely, terrifyingly strong, Najin Sword wasn’t a great team. Right now, Match against Sword will be probably as difficult as facing CLG EU in summer season. To be honest, I didn’t think Sword would grow big so fast. I see rapid progress every time I watch them. They learn from all of their matches: in Season 2 World Final, in MLG, and in Winter Champions. They have become one of the best team in the World in matter of months!
Q: What do you have to watch out for against Najin Sword?
Cloudtemplar: In the past, it was Maknoon and his four fellows. They are not Maknoon’s one-man team anymore. All five players have potentials to change the game. Therefore, we have to approach them as a whole, Najin Sword’s aggressive playstyle and strong laning phase. It’s up to me to figure out what to do in early game to withstand the pressure and in late game to win the teamfight.
Q: How are you preparing for the match? What’s your focus area?
Cloudtemplar: We are scrimming against Blaze and disccusing our strategies. Many people say that Frost is weak early and strong in late game. While it is important to cover our weaknesses, my thought is that we have to make our forte even stronger. So right now, I’m figuring out how to make Frost late game even superior.
Q: (To Rapidstar), you have performed well with Diana last season. Do you plan to pick her in the final?
Rapidstar: At that time, Diana was really OP. I’ve tried many champs but I haven’t found a “hidden OP” so far.
No matter. I will roam freely and gank every lane whichever champ I pick.

Q: What do you think about Ssong?
Rapidstar: He went all the way up to the final, period. His skills is indisputable. In terms of his playstyle, he is balanced, and especially strong on Orianna and Evelynn. He is now famous for his mid Kayle, but I don’t think it will be a problem since Ambition plays good Kayle and I managed well against him.
Q: What do you think about Najin Sword’s bot? Pray, in particular.
Woong: He is good, but I’m not too worried about facing him. What I’m afraid of is our condition on the day of the final. I hope we don’t screw up like we did in Spring Season.
Madlife: I agree with Woong. It’s not our opponent we have to worry about, but whether or not we can show everything we prepared on the final. Theoretically, I think our bot lane is stronger, but we must prepare to show it on the stage.
Q: Your final statement against Najin Sword?
Woong: I know that Pray is called as Dodoria, but as you know, Dodoria is servant of Freiza. My nickname is Boo, so we’ll have to see who’s stronger.
Madlife: Dodoria, you better bring several scouters for the final.
Shy: Maknoon always says, “Maknoon is back!” This time, I will show him that Shy is back to remind his nightmares on MLG Final.
Rapidstar: I went all the way to Europe to learn roaming style mid. On the final, I will show you my European roaming style that combines Alex ich, xPeke, and Ocelote all together.
Cloudtemplar: I’ve known Maknoon for a long time since we are both veteran League of Legends progamers, so I’m really glad to see him at the final. Nonetheless, I think he has to look forward to the next season for the trophy. I mean, my opponent jungler Watch is much more handsome than I am, so I think he will do fine without the Champions Trophy.
Recently, people have said that both Azubus are in a slump. This final will be a great chance to show them that we are still in business. We are always practicing as much as we can, and this final we will make a memorable best out of 5 for all our supporters.
One last thing, I hope Mokuza gets well soon.

Najin Sword
Q: This is the first final for Najin Sword. First of all, congratulations! Is there anything you want to say?
Cain: This is the first time that Najin went to the final so thanks to all people who helped us get here, especially Najin Shield
Q: Your Final match-up is arguably the best team in Korea, Frost. What plans do you have against them?
Pray: My concern is Cloudtemplar’s gank in lane phase. Other than that, I’m confident that I can out scale Woong over time.
Watch: Frost, as we have already seen, prefer late game comps and so is Cloudtemplar. Najin Sword has to stick to its own color and dominate early game.
Cain: As far as the bottom goes, it basically be a farm-fest. Mid and jungle will make the difference.
Q: Fans thought of Najin Sword as “strong early game, weak late game.”
Maknoon: Yeah, it’s true. We really had big problems in mid and late game. Now it’s much better than before, mostly because we tried to learn from our mistakes and stay calm after a loss. That was our biggest weakness and we resolved it. We have great chance of winning the final now.

Q: How is your training going so far? Did Mokuza’s hospitalization bother your preparation?
Ssong: We mainly scrim against Shield, KT Rolster B, and CJ Entus. Aside from Korean teams, we scrim with WE
Maknoon: I slightly feel his loss, but his substitute is doing great so as far as scrim is concerned, I don’t see much of an issue. This final is so important that I must focus all of my resources to practice. I shouldn’t worry too much about him. I sent him a text message asking him how he’s doing, but he replied “Don’t you have to practice for the final? If you have time to text me, eat more CS!”
Q: Shy has been doing phenomenal job at top lane. Do you have any strategy to beat him at top lane?
Maknoon: Well… Cloudtemplar is really passive in early game so I shouldn’t have to worry about his ganks too much. Even if it’s not the case, I’ll show him “the class” of the best top lane in Korea. After the final, he will always feel “Shy” against me.
Q: Rapidstar is a world-class mid laner. What plans do you have?
Ssong: His skillshot landing is amazing, but I already prepared my secret strategy to win the game. To give you a hint, I won’t fight him 1 vs 1, but I will fight him in many skirmishes involving junglers and bot lanes.
Q: Tell me your last statements against the final against Frost
Maknoon: First of all, I hope Mokuza gets well, and about the final, I will call it Najin’s Journey to the Champions trophy, and I will be Makdalf the Gray.
Watch: I really wanted to go all the way up to the final. Now it’s time for us to win. I will join Makdalf and his journey to win the trophy as… Waragon
Ssong: This is the first time we went to the final so our expectations and passions are really high. To repay all the efforts and attentions that people around us, we will not lose this opportunity.
For Rapidstar, I will downgrade him into his Spring Season form.
Cain: I know they have MadGod on their side. Well, we have DodoGod on our side, so it will be the battle of the Gods. Personally, I’m looking forward to earn the title of… “Godslayer.”
Pray: I’m AD Carry so I’m Legolas. Would that make me… Dogolas? Whatever…

We don’t have a good trophy in our gaming house. After the final, we will have a Champions Trophy with our names engraved on it.
