Mousesports signs 16-year old Terran player Chris “Illusion” Lee

On Thursday, it was announced that Chris “Illusion” Lee, formerly of Quantic Gaming, became the newest member of mousesports.

The German organization’s StarCraft 2 division, which opened in March 2010, has been home to many established pro players such as Aleksey “White-Ra” Krupnyk and Marcus “ThorZaIN” Eklöf. Today, the team houses top Europeans players Dennis “HasuObs” Schneider, Grzegorz “MaNa” Komincz, Gabriel “HeRoMaRinE” Segat, and Jonne “Protosser“ Sotala. Mousesports has had multiple top placings in prominent team leagues, placing second in the North American Star Team League, second in the IPL Team Arena Challenge 1 and first in the Evil Geniuses Master’s Cup Series VI back in 2011.

Illusion will be the first American player to join the mousesports StarCraft 2 division. The 16-year old Terran player left many of his fans asking for more, after a year of upsetting top players such as DeMusliM, Ret, Zenio, Ryung, Oz and others in multiple large-scale tournaments worldwide. After the collapse of Quantic Gaming, Lee was offered a personal sponsorship with Razer, a current sponsor of mousesports. About one month later, mousesports announced their signing of the talented Terran player, further strengthening the team’s roster.
