Welcome to ESFI's hiring page. We encourage everyone to take the preview tour prior to applying for a position so that you can familiarize yourself with the site and with our goals. Please note that this is a different type of journalistic venture for those who have experience writing for other e-sport media sites. There's room for growth and room to allow yourself to explore your capabilities as an e-sport enthusiast. We are seeking staff based in all areas of the world.
Writing is Fun Again
Have you ever wondered how an organization could make their writers' jobs more fun and exciting? We believe we've found the answer. The ESFI circuit system is enabling new doors to be opened when it comes to creating original content. Writers who are covering circuit leagues and events will be able to create their own storylines within. Rivalries. Event hype. Think of all the intrigue that can be built up when the season is winding down and one final event will decide the world champion. The possibilities are endless. What's all this do? It creates fans. Not only can e-sports be exciting again - writing about e-sports will be, too.
Ethics and Standards
We use journalism to express in words to the world what our industry is all about. When it comes to the e-sport industry, the level of journalistic standards have remained quite low as the sport develops. ESFI believes that the sport has reached a stage in its development where it deserves a higher quality of content. ESFI will approach the industry as a professional news organization and raise the bar. We hope other e-sport media websites do the same.
What if I Don't Like Writing?
Writing and other editorial positions are not the only types of positions available. We're just building our team, so we are looking for everything from graphic designers, video editors, game VOD recorders, and others. Please see the following page for a detailed look at open positions.
Company Growth
ESFI is employing a "move from the bottom up" staff structure as we promote from within, beginning with internship positions at the first level. We expect significant growth as our company develops and want to build a stable team who will be able to reap the rewards of our growth in the future.

Positions will be paid as you climb the ladder. Staff will have the opportunity to travel to events with the ESFI team. As part of the e-sport press, you will enjoy a much more in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the industry. This is also a great chance for you to get your foot in the door in the online media space and add to your resume. Additionally, we really want to make the entire experience fun, so we'll be holding lots of in-house contests and other activities with rewards.

First, fill out the application form. We'll then contact you within 72 hours. All applicants: please be prepared to be interviewed by the founders of ESFI via Skype, so be sure to have a mic or headset working.
