We are seeking a senior editor to help run our growing StarCraft 2 division. You will work directly with our Managing Editor to plan, produce, and organize content. Ideally, you should have at least a few hours of free time each day to devote to helping manage the content team. 

• Responsibilities: managing a team of content creators; proofreading content, planning and producing content which will appear on the website (news, features, managing staff members who will provide coverage of events, etc.)
• Exceptional grammar, proofreading skills
• Excellent management and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Age requirement: 18 years old (21+ preferred)

In 2012, we are looking to expand our content offerings further into the digital space with more streaming, VoD, and podcasts. We are seeking a digital media director to oversee all of our streaming, VoD, and podcast content. Your responsibilities will be to hire and manage a digital media staff, oversee the production of all digital media content including show production, and develop new digital media content strategies. As Digital Media Director, you will work directly under our Managing Editor and interface with staff across multiple games.

We are seeking two Korean translators who are already regular visitors of reputable Korean e-sports sites such as ThisIsGame.com and PlayXP.com.

• Responsibilities: you will be responsible for keeping on top of the Korean e-sports scene, regularly visiting Korean e-sport websites and finding news stories to translate into English for publishing on ESFIWorld.com; you will be working directly with the editorial team

We are seeking news writers and coverage reporters for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, fighting games and Dota 2. You will be working directly under the supervision of a content director.

• Responsibilities: writing news items several times per week (you will be reporting on news items as they happen); providing live coverage of events online (score keeping, match previews and recaps, analysis); feature articles (interviews, editorials, etc.)

We are seeking a number of columnists who are able to submit a weekly or bi-weekly column for publishing on ESFIWorld.com. The topic or theme of your column is completely up to you.

We are seeking two content artists who are able to produce splash images, event page graphics and related images for each of the games that we support.

• Responsibilities: coordinating with content directors to produce graphics materials as needed

We are seeking video editors to produce original content on a semi-daily to weekly basis.

• Responsibilities: coordinating with the video content director to produce highlight videos and other original video content

Compensation Plan

1. As a temporary solution, each in-house staff member will be given a percentage of the ad revenue that is produced each month. The amount is paid monthly and the minimum payout must be at least $10 USD. As the company grows, the compensation structure will move towards monthly salaries for the dedicated, proven and most tenured staff members, and as resources allow. [As of January 2012, 100% of our advertising revenue is going directly into travel expenses, so we are not able to monetarily compensate our staff at this time].

2. Each staff member or contributor is eligible to be a part of ESFI World's on-site event coverage teams at tournaments around the world. ESFI covers 100% of each individual's travel costs (hotel and air travel).
