Azubu have announced today both Frost and Blaze’s intent to no longer renew their current contracts with Azubu come the fourth of February, the Olympus Winter Championships being their last tournament to both go by the name Azubu.
This news coincides the upcoming launch of AzubuTV, a streaming platform intended to rival leading stream provider TwitchTV, already having secured exclusive broadcasting rights for top team Counter Logic Gaming, and their recent partnership resulting in Azubu opening a Western office of their own in Santa Monica.
Azubu has assured fans they’ll remain prevalent in e-sports with their CLG partnership and AzubuTV, in addition to their recently expanded presence in StarCraft 2 and Guid Wars 2 with teams of their own.
