E-Sport Fans International (ESFI) was founded in 2007 by Brent Ruiz and Gene Angel to address the need for an independent, impartial e-sports media company. Launched on December 3rd, 2010, ESFIWorld.com is a media platform dedicated to the expansion and growth of electronic sports (also called competitive or professional gaming). The ESFI World platform provides international media coverage of e-sports for a number of game titles, including StarCraft 2, Counter-Strike, Dota 2, Call of Duty, League of Legends and fighting games.
